Wolf's law (specific adaptations to impose demand) - your body will adapt with the demands put on it.

My rule with massage is, your body is a finely tuned machine and if something is not working efficiently it will cause problems and if not seen to will cause bigger problems for you and your body. So it's better to treat small problems rather than big ones. If you have an injury do something about it, don't let it get bigger.
